NATURAL RESERVE

Jalles Machado's Natural Reserve is located in Cavalcante-GO, a municipalty covering about 60% of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park area. With 16,374 hectares of native forest in the Cerrado, the region is home to numerous species of plants and animals, contributing to biodiversity conservation.
The existing water courses in the Reserve, as well as in the municipality of Goianésia, are part of the Tocantins River Basin.
