NATURAL RUBBER

With the beginning of mechanized harvesting, each machine has replaced about 100 sugarcane cutters and we created the Rubber Tree Project to employ these workers. We invested in a rubber plantation, where people could be employed in the latex extraction, which is done manually. It was the beginning of Goiás Latex and the history of many workers who exchanged cane cutting by rubber plantations. Today, Goianésia is one of the largest producers of natural rubber in Goiás.
