WASTE MANAGEMENT

Any solid, liquid or biomedical waste is monitored, classified and correctly disposed. We make selective waste collection and we have a sewage treatment station, where 100% of domestic sewage is treated. Vinasse and filter cake, wastes of the industrial process, are used in fertigation and organic fertilization of the cane fields. Paper, tires, oils, scrap, lamps and others are sold. Phytosanitary packages are returned. We also have a controlled landfill to receive the biomedical waste and others that cannot be recycled or sold. This way we give the correct destination to all the waste we generate. That provides an additional income to the company, besides of immeasurable environmental gains.
